Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the process?

Great question!

When I first meet with a client, I take in everything I see and hear. Visually, I am able to recognize the quality of health, while chiming in to the tune of the mental/emotional language.

The modalities I use to detect the bodies energy comes from Chinese DO Meridian Readings, and works very similar to the way acupuncture works. I take a measure on each pulse, then play something like a follow-pull game, influencing energy to move freely within the channels. While exploring and taking energetic measurements, I am also working to release the fascial bands which carry stored emotions and directly affect the nervous system. The energy which feels unprocessed is drawn out and digested through the chakras, which I also balance to a restorative state of healthy function. Osteopathic Manipulation offers a mechanical advantage to the body as it gently welcomes the bone structure back into anatomical alignment, and allows for a deep listen to the history of ones anatomy.

Woundings can be physical, emotional, and spiritual. Think surface, deep and untouchable. They also can be transferable. The body tells a story which is non-biased. Energy does not lie. My promise is to always speak of it, with an open heart and to offer my space as a place of sanctuary for healing. I use a variety of trauma informed modalities and nervous system therapies to passively treat the bodies memory, and ease it into a state of trust and repair. Lessons from spirit offers compassion and artistry for creatively transmuting the energy to support the embodiment of healing.

the bridge to where science meets magic

I love to explore the body in a tangible way. We speak of feelings, and this gives me clues to where I need to focus. This also offers me a place to put my own experience on paper. I treat each healing session as an opportunity to track and discover. Then I work to unpuzzle what I find, and shape out a translation into a form of story. In a great sense, this is an art of seeing which moves forward and backwards in time, touching in on generational imprints. The work to me feels really simple, but I revere the process as sacred for it has the potential to create profound change. To offer more insight, I use researched medical material to explain unique findings and provide as much support as I can.
