Scope of Practice— Armadillo Moon provides Somatic support that may help clients:

  • Increase nervous system regulation and bodily awareness

  • Reduce chronic muscular tension and stress-related pain

  • Improve emotional regulation and grounding

  • Enhance capacity for psychotherapy and insight oriented work

  • Reconnect safely with bodily sensations after trauma

This work does not diagnose or treat mental illness and is not a replacement for psychotherapy, psychiatric care, or medical treatment. It is intended as a complimentary, adjunctive modality.

Armadillo Moon offers body-based, somatic therapeutic support designed to complement psychotherapy, psychiatry, and medical care. Services focus on nervous system regulation, chronic tension, and the somatic impact of stress and trauma.

This work is often most effective when integrated alongside talk therapy and medical treatment, particularly for patients who struggle to access change through cognitive or verbal approaches alone.

For Therapists, Psychiatrists, and Medical Providers:

Armadillo Moon exists to support the body’s role in healing, especially when integrated thoughtfully.

Meet the Practitioner

Welcome to Armadillo Moon, an evolving practice devoted to supporting the body through times of transition and recalibration.

With 25 years of clinical experience and over 2,500 hours of advanced study, I specialize in nervous system regulation and integrative somatic care. My work bridges Eastern and Western therapeutic philosophies, creating sessions that are both grounded and deeply restorative.

Each treatment weaves together Craniosacral Therapy, Anatomy Trains principles, Neuromuscular Therapy, Polyvagal-informed exercises, and Somatic Experiencing. Rather than applying technique mechanically, I listen to the body’s cues and respond in real time—working quietly and precisely until regulation emerges.

Inspired by the teachings of Pat Ogden, Daniel Siegel, and Peter Levine, my practice extends beyond traditional massage therapy into trauma-informed, sensory-based restoration.

Every client encounter is an opportunity to facilitate meaningful change—supporting resilience, balance, and embodied ease.

I have trained at Crestone Healing Arts Center (2001) and Oregon School of Massage (2018), and continue to deepen my study in integrative nervous system work.
