This family-centered group session explores traditional practices surrounding birth, with preparation resources, planning tools, and a postpartum care plan to support your growing family.

Explore the nature of birth and how the seasons of conception, growing, and integration can open new pathways to relating more deeply with yourself, your baby, and your family.

Connect through art, conversation, and reflection as you explore the fears, expectations, and inhibitions that may surround the act of bringing new life into the world.

Learn to create space for your body and baby to move more freely during this deeply primal experience. Practice positions, breathing techniques, and movement to support your body through contractions, transitions, and the final stages of labor.

Together, we'll also discuss and plan for the after-birth period, building a foundation of care for you, your baby, and the family around you.

Infant Massage & Early Care

Building connection, one touch at a time.

Learn to care for your baby's body with your own two hands. Through gentle touch, mindful attention, and traditional caregiving practices, discover ways to understand your baby's cues, support their comfort, and nurture a growing relationship built on trust.

Together, we'll explore how to:

  • Read your baby's cues — Recognize signs of hunger, tiredness, discomfort, stress, and readiness for connection or play.

  • Soothe through touch — Learn gentle massage techniques to support relaxation, ease everyday discomfort, and nurture your baby's developing body.

  • Build nourishing connections — Encourage play, gentleness, and imagination while learning responsive ways to comfort your baby during periods of crying or fussiness.

  • Support healthy development — Explore infant massage, movement, and body awareness as part of your baby's early growth.

  • Learn traditional caregiving practices — Discover approaches to babywearing, breastfeeding support, toileting readiness, and weaning, while honoring the different ways families care for their little ones.

  • Feel more prepared — Learn what to look for when your baby isn't feeling well, when to contact your healthcare provider, and how to recognize situations that require emergency care.

Drawing from traditional caregiving wisdom across cultures and informed by contemporary infant-care guidance, this class offers practical tools, shared learning, and space to grow in confidence as you learn your baby's unique language.

Because caring for a baby is more than meeting their needs. It's learning to listen, respond, and build a relationship that grows with them.
